What was once a builder’s spec house was transformed into a unique and interesting transitional style home. What started in the Living Room, lead to a re-design of nearly every room in this center hall colonial in Rockville, Maryland. The owners envisioned a cohesive color palette flowing throughout the main living spaces in the house; a two-toned mix of blue-greens and beiges help unify each space.  An ever growing collection of contemporary art and accessories surprises at every turn.  Most recently the lower level was gutted and renovated to incorporate an family friendly entertainment area: a combined Media, Games Room, Kitchen, and Family Room for this young family of four. With both form and function in mind, the built-in cabinetry surrounding the fireplace was custom designed to complement the space and serve as storage for games and toys and showcase a curated collection of accessories.
